We had a fish and chips pack with salad and another piece of tempura grenadier.
The salad needed more dressing and pizzaz - was like a salad greens mix from the supermarket with some token tomatoes and cucumbers. Tempura batter was not crispy but the fish was nicely done and fresh tasting which was about the only redeeming feature of this pack. 2 fresh small slices of lemon completed the pack. Chips were not crispy on the outside and texture inside was not soft (wonder if it has been in the freezer too long). I think a good dollop of tomato sauce might have helped with this meal. There is one large table inside for 6 and bench seating. There is a table outside for 4. I liked the crafted long bench seats outside with attractive plants. Very pleasant view outside in autumn. And during the festival you can enjoy the music from the bands and other musicians.

The 5 of us planned to get take-away fish and chips, and take back to the cabin in the Resort over the river.
But because it was cold, we decided to eat there. Luckily the only table inside was open, so we commandeered it!
The fish was absolutely fresh, and the chips were great.

Great place for take out. We loved everything we ordered. There are some places there to eat but it’s set up more for take away. Ask the staff were lovely. We ordered ahead and it was ready exactly on time.

Got takeaway one night. Food very tasty. Place was clean and efficient. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices seemed very good. Grilled fish was well cooked and tasty. Might get the small chips next time :) Well worth a thought if you like fish and chips and want an easy night. Easy parking at the door or short walk from most spots. Staff excellent. We will return on our next visit.
